Although the ESD Institute for Business Development was registered in 2016, to meet the shortage of trained individuals in the Business / entrepreneurial industry, we have been in the training industry for over 20 years.  

Our nationally recognized Diplomas and Certificates will equip learners to take their place as future Entrepreneurs and/or employees.  Quality Assurance and quality enhancement levels ensure that learners receive quality education with applied competency and capability as demanded by the industry.

The ESD Institute for Business Development is

• In the process of registering as a Private Higher Education Institution with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) under the Higher Education Act 1997

• Submitted it’s registration as a provider to offer accredited qualifications with the SERVICES SETA

• All qualifications in South Africa need to be registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Our full-time Diploma programmes and Our Further Education and Training programmes are registered with SAQA.

• Graduates are loaded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) which enables future employers/ employment agencies to verify learner qualification.

The Institution and its programs are intended to give entrepreneurs the needed assistance to pursue their goals in education, employment and business development while supporting Township Economy Revitalization initiatives. We are made up of a network of passionate, supportive, collaborative, diverse and professional facilitators, assessors, moderators & verifiers who focus on developing the skills of Entrepreneurs and their employees to improve team performance.
